🌱Receiving our first trucks running on 100% natural gas “Bio GNV” (Bio Natural Gas Vehicle)!

Fossil fuel coming from the local agricultural environment 🚜 the bio gas reduces up to 80% of our CO2 emissions and participates in the development of the circular economy ♻️

Committed to an eco-responsible approach for several years, the arrival of these new truck models in our Transports Coué and TRM fleet is completely in line with our objective to reduce our Carbon footprint 🌍.

This 1st TRM Transports Rapide du Maine vehicle, out of a series of 10 ordered, will carry a payload of 29 tons 🏋️ instead of 20 tons!

Pascal seizes the internal opportunity to become a Telescopic Handler Operator

👥 Let’s go on the road together 🌿

Today, we have the pleasure to introduce you to Pascal at the wheel of his Reach Stacker at our Dry Port in Laval (53). After 4 years as a Road Container Driver within our structure TCM (Trans-Containers du Maine), Pascal seized an internal opportunity and has been working as a Telescopic Arm Machine Driver since the beginning of December.

From the top of his cab, Pascal now moves containers 🏗 from their storage place, called Port Sec, to place them on the container-carrying chassis of our trucks 🚛 and vice versa ↔️. This very sensitive handling requires a lot of meticulousness and extreme precision 🧐 which Pascal masters completely!

It smells like Spring 🌱🌷 in our trucks, plant season is starting!

Transporting plants and flowers, fragile and perishable, requires :

  • precision 🧐 and care in loading, stowing the rolls (specific wheeled cart),
  • precaution and preservation in temperature-controlled trailers for long-distance transport
  • distribution in tailor-made hatchback adapted to garden centers

With a strong experience for several years in this delicate field, we carry out this transport daily towards the South-East for our customers Nurserymen of Angers, in the respect of the sensitivity of the product.

Via our MDL platform, based in Nîmes (30), the plants are thus delivered within 24 hours in the PACA & Occitania Garden Centers, ready to embellish ✨ the gardens 🏡 !

We are pleased to start our new series “👥 Let’s go on the road together 🌿”  by informing you of David’s new missions as Internal Trainer for our structures Transports Coué, TRM and TCM.
After 14 years as a Transport Operator, David continues to evolve within our company and since the beginning of February, he has taken on the important role of accompanying our drivers to ensure the best possible working conditions.
His role is also:
✅ the integration of our new drivers
✅ training in eco-driving
✅ participation in recruitment
✅ representing our structures to schools and at job fairs.
✨We wish him all the best in this new function!
